Our Mission

The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation is dedicated to meeting the basic needs of people experiencing poverty. Grants support direct services in the areas of Housing, Health, Jobs, Education, and Aging and serve a range of individuals, including women at risk and their children, older adults, people with disabilities, and the Jewish community.

Our Focus Areas

The Weinberg Foundation fulfills its mission to help those in greatest need by providing grants within five core focus areas. These core focus areas serve different populations, as well as different geographic areas.

In response to the devastation and loss of life caused by the Oct. 7 attacks on Israel and ongoing crisis, The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation has provided grants to 10 nonprofits to address emergency and basic needs — the first round of funding out of $5 million allocated for this purpose.
